In Loving Memory of Elizabeth A. (Brown) Stickle
Elizabeth A. “Liz” Stickle, age 81, of Newark, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Sharon Brooke Assisted Living. She was born October 2, 1935 in Newark to the late Ralph H. and Mary Alta (Long) Brown.
Mrs. Stickle graduated from Jacksontown High School. Liz was a Deputy Director of the County Board of Elections for 20 years. Later she was employed by Appletree Auction Center in the snack bar. She attended Trinity Episcopal Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Anne Wilson of Sarasota, Florida and Julia (John) Stickle-Griley of Newark; four grandchildren, Joshua “Pete” Dodson of Florida, Zachary “Cy” Wilson of Indiana, Kyndal White of Newark and Dale Forrest of Columbus; three great-grandchildren Noah, McKenna and Knoxlee; half-brother, Randy Brown; a sister-in-law, June Stickle; a brother-in-law, Gary A. Stickle of Naples, Florida, with two daughters, Jenn and Carrie; two nieces, Jennifer and Jeanie; a nephew Johnny; and two cousins, Patricia (Robert) Walrath and Katie Walrath.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Stickle.
According to her wishes, there will be no calling hours or service observed.
