Marlene Ann Brosier, age 70, of Newark, OH, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, with her daughter, Angie by her side.
She was born in Detroit, MI on February 1, 1948 to the late William and Marguerite (Sundeen) Grant.
Marlene grew up in Acme, MI and graduated from Traverse City High with the class of 1966. She later became a beautician and that became her trade. After traveling to the western parts of the United States, she developed a love for anything pertaining to it.
She was an animal lover, rescuing many animals over the years, nursing them back to health. She loved every pet she ever had, including her cats, Isis and Alabama, who will now live with her daughter.
Marlene is survived by her daughter, Angelina “Angie” (Tara Kelley) Winn of Kinglsey, MI; a son; Brian Winn of Grayling, MI; three granddaughters, Lindsey (Nick Hulsebos) Winn of Grand Rapids MI, Rachel (Devin) McPherson of Lake Ann, MI and Tiffany Fick of Cadillac, MI; and a great-granddaughter, Adelaide McPherson and close family friend, Kathy Giddis of Lake Ann.
Cremation has taken place with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
