A memorial service celebrating the life of Ginger L. “Gin” Teegardin, age 60, of Newark, will be held on Monday, April 15 at 11 a.m. at The Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service, 59 North Fifth Street, Newark, with Pastor David Hesler, officiating.
Gin passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019. She was born on November 28, 1958 in Newark, Ohio to the Dwight Alfred and Mary Elizabeth (Harrison) Baker.
Gin retired from State Farm Insurance in 2018. Gin enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren. She especially liked cats and collected cat memorabilia. Gin will be missed because she was always there for others in need.
She is survived by her mother, Mary E. Baker; daughter, Jennifer L. (Bill Eisert) Teegardin; four grandchildren, Caleb Music, Calyn Music, Baylie Eisert, and William Eisert; three brothers, Richard (Mary) Baker, Samuel Baker, and David (Bonnie) Baker and her beloved cat, Harley.
Gin was preceded in death by her father, Dwight Baker; and infant grandson, Cashe Music.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Monday, April 15, from 9-11 a.m. at The Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral Home, 59 North Fifth Street, Newark.
