A Mass of Christian Burial for Charles E. Rowe, 51, of Hebron, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 12, at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 57 Dorsey Mill Rd East, Heath, with Father William Hritsko, as celebrant.

Charles passed on Monday, June 8, 2020 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. He was born December 24, 1968 in Maryland at Andrews Air Force Base to the late David Edward and Linda Ruth (Rowe) Paine.
Charles was a graduate of Centennial High School in Maryland. He joined the U.S. Army following graduation and served for eight years. He was stationed in Korea for two years and while stationed at Ft. Campbell in Kentucky in 1984, he met his future wife, Jennifer. They would be married ten years later, September 24, 1994. Charles served in Operation Desert Storm, 2nd Infantry with the Sappers and the 101st Airborne Division.
After discharging from the Army, he was employed in Cleveland with Ritz-Carlton Hotel as a maintenance engineer for 12 years. He worked for Greens on Hamilton Road after moving to Licking County in 2001 he worked Cherry Valley Lodge for numerous years and then Lou and Gib Reese Ice Rink.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Jennifer (Crider); three sisters, MacKenzie Rowe of Boston, Massachusetts, Sharon Paine and Rachel Paine both of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; step-mother, Rita Rowe of New Jersey; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Laura and Dennis Brooks of Cleveland; Cassie and Chad Jamieson, God-daughters, Audrey and Alicia of Mansfield; brother-in-law, Matthew (fiancé, Katie) Crider of Columbus; special Aunt and late Uncle, Kathy and Ralph Swick of Thornville; several uncles and aunts and many cousins; and faithful dog, Remi, who will miss climbing all over him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ferdinand Crider.
